Pillow Talk

[preface: this alarm clock has fritzed out. it actually still alarms us to wake up but the digital screen is lacking that digital quality that actually allows us to see the numbers. Until we remedy this situation, we've been using my cell phone as an alarm.]

Amanda: Did you set the alarm?
Me: No, will you hand me the phone?
Amanda: ok, here (reaches for the phone, holds charger cord with arm outstretch to avoid dropping said cord and thus having to get out of bed.)
Amanda:[still waiting with outstretched arm] Hun, did you set the alarm??
Me: uh-huh.
Amanda: [.....still waiting, arm beginning burning....]
Amanda:.....BABE!
Me: What?!? I just wanna read Oprah's tweets.
Amanda: ugh...did you just say something about Oprah's teets?
