The town we live in is host to lots of festivals and fund raisers. This one is one of our favorites. Its' actually a fundraiser for Soroptimist. You can learn about it here. It was great to see a lot of people we know from town working the event.
As a plug for the Healdsburg Beer Company, they sold out an hour before closing time, the second year in a row! I met the brewmaster at the golf course a few days later. He told me that this started as a hobby and has turned into a much bigger thing. His brewery is in their garage for crying out loud! They are pouring at Affronti in Healdsburg. I gotta get over there and check it out. I was told, before learning that it was sold out, that it was the best beer in the plaza.
This is one of the coolest things about this little town. There is always a dance floor set up, and people are out there cuttin a rug!
