There are a lot of good things in my life. I live so close to my job that I walk there. I have a very cute dog, who's always happy to see me. My mom and I laugh at each other often. I have an iPhone, and a backyard, and good friends. You get the picture. I'm pretty lucky. But the best thing in my life is her...
Yesterday we made plans to be home for dinner. It's important to note that Michelle loves to cook, and many years ago we decided if she would cook I would do the dishes. Sometimes I hate that deal because I'm tired and don't want to do the dishes. At any rate, she made pasta last night with sauce that she had made from scratch a few weeks ago. She took all the tomatoes we had in the kitchen, which was about 12, and whipped up that magically delicious concoction. I love that about her. She can make the things in our fridge and pantry into something delicious...and do it without a recipe. Even though we've been together a while, I still learn new things about her. i.e. she can't cross her eyes. I'll say "cross your eyes", and her eyes just point down at the table. She tries, but no luck. Damn that lazy eye! Love it. She also happens to be uber organized. This is really good for me because I am just not. One day I am going to come home to a label making explosion, I can feel it! These are just a few of the zillion reasons I love her.
Her birthday is coming up. There will probably be a post on here about what we did, or her turning 28, or something.

Amanda, you are an incredibly sweet person. Watching you and M together, and seeing how lovely you both fit each other, is one of my favorite things about CA.
Would you please dump Michelle for me? I swear I'd play for the other team for you!
I love her, too :)
Sarah, you're hilarious!
